Booking your wedding reception venue

wedding reception venue providers
           marquee hire companies

Your venue booking constitutes the first bit of paperwork along the route to your reception planning, and is a tricky stage, since, although you haven't yet usually booked your wedding music or entertainment, or indeed sent out your invitations, you still need to have a rough idea of what you will ultimately book and the numbers you will be catering for in order to ensure that the room isn't ridiculously small, large or in some other way inadequate for the event you are envisaging.

If you wish to book a marquee, it is a good idea if you discuss with your marquee hire company exactly what your likely performance is going to involve, and make sure the dimensions of what you hire are adequate to accomodate your string quartet or six-piece band!

With a standard venue, enquire about electricity supplies and any lighting equipment or other facilities available (such as risers, piano, furniture, screens etc).

We are including below a small list of venues in Shropshire, Powys, Wales, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Cheshire, Herefordshire, the Midlands, Birmingham, along with a brief review regarding the general ambiance and atmosphere of the facility. We are happy to post up details from either wedding reception venue providers or marquee hire companies - please email us at this link with your business name, own name, telephone, email and website (where applicable), and a short description of the venue or facility you offer and hire costs.
