The Two Day Recording Experience is a ten hour recording studio experience split into two days, for singers, musicians, and those for whom one day is not enough!
Costing £450, it offers ten hours in a professional studio environment to sing to backings or to make other musical recordings or even to have your own extended party (up to 4 participants). A brilliant recording voucher gift for musicians or singers of any type.
The extended session is intended for all standards, from complete beginners in a recording studio to seasoned professionals, and is a lot of fun and highly enjoyable, with plenty of support from our friendly and talented studio staff. The number of tracks you will be able to record in these two days will vary totally. Much depends on the time you spend warming up and how quickly and accurately you can lay down lines, and how complex the material is you want to record.
We offer this experience for both singers and musicians, as well as songwriters wishing to develop their material.
i. Singing Experience
During the ten hour singing experience, you should aim at
around ten tracks. Much depends on the time you spend warming up and
how quickly and accurately you can lay down lines. If you can practise
before you arrive, so much the better!
During our recording studio singing experiences, our production
engineer will also work with you on microphone technique and layering of
vocals in a variety of pop styles if you want. Our recording studios
for the day are able to select backings from our extensive in-house
catalogue, or request more unusual tracks to be ordered in. Occasionally
bespoke tracks can be developed.
Vocal tuning software is available for that additional polish which is sometimes requested on a singer experience!
We also have a variety of vocal effects and techniques to lend different qualities to your vocals.
ii Music Experience
During a two day music experience you will spend ten hours
either recording cover versions or your own music. To achieve this, you
may use a variety of different methods : some use backing tracks so
that they can lay down their guitar or bass lines, drums or other covers
with the professionals. Others are interested in creating a track from
scratch, and here our studio staff will join in by supplying any
additional instrumentation required either for cover versions or for new
material. Or you can do it all yourself if you like!! For more

*Ten hours' recording, mixing and mastering, and the expertise of a professional studio engineer producer.(Other length sessions available)
* A beautiful voucher for the experience day by first class post, with a personal letter describing the gift.
* A commercial standard disc and MP3 of your recording.
* Singers: Free use of the studio in-house backings (many
thousands). Four unlisted tracks may also be bought in from our approved
supplier at our expense, within the cost of the 10 hr voucher.
* For musicians, access to backings as and when required, editing
and special effects for your instruments. A selection of pianos,
professional keyboards and guitars are available at the studio.
* Microphone coaching.
* Vocal layering instruction where required
* Tuning assistance if needed, for that final product!
* Vocal and microphone coaching where required.
* Up to four may come with you to back you up, and take photographs.
* Suitable for up to four participants.
* Suitable for all ages - staff are CRB checked.
* Any lyrics provided on request in advance or on the day.

bed and breakfast, or hotel, or camp out.

Two day recording experiences 10 hr recording What a weekend - Phil guided us expertly through about three times more work than I really thought possible. Apart from anything else he worked out very quickly what we knew and didn't know, and what I can take back to work on in my own studio. He got some really outstanding vocals down very quickly, layering and double tracking expertly, and we also nailed some great drum tracks. I'd certainly recommend the this experience both for newbies, hobby musicians or pros looking for a great day's recording experience or why not that all important first album? A blast...
