		The Soul Singer Recording Experience is an opportunity for anyone who enjoys singing soul music to perform and record it in the environment of a recording studio, either singing to backings or musically. (Any era or any mixture can in fact be selected!) You can read a full description lower down this page and the experience can be booked as a singing experience for 3, 4, 5 or 10 hours at the links in the box below.

The Soul Singer Recording Studio Experience is the traditional "singing to backings" version of the recording studio experience but with a focus on the songs such as those of the gutsy soul singer, Aretha Franklin, or the glamorous superstars Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, Tina Turner, or maybe for male singers the songs of such legends as Marvin Gaye or Otis Redding.

Still at £250, it offers five hours in a professional studio environment to sing soul numbers. There is also a three hour mini-experience available at £160. Now's your chance to record such legendary hits as "Respect", "Upside Down" and "Grapevine"! All soul singer experience vouchers or other specialist vouchers can be used as general recording studio experiences if so desired. Your voucher is totally flexible and you can book to record whichever styles you like.

The soul singer recording studio experience session, intended for complete beginners in a recording studio, is, as always, great fun, and our firndly studio staff will do their best to help you achiev your goal. The whole recording atmosphere is geared to relaxation and enjoyment, and the resulting CD of a unique professional quality! Come in a car with a CD player!

If you're wondering what you can hope to record during an soul singer recording studio experience, recording numbers vary from 4-10 depending on experience and how quickly you can lay down lines. A mini-experience will allow for two or three.

During our soul singer experience, our production engineer will also work with you on microphone technique and layering of vocals in a variety of typical soul styles if you want. You can select backings from our in-house catalogue, or request more unusual tracks to be ordered in. We also have the facilities to develop original arrangements if you wish.

Vocal tuning software is available for that additional polish which is sometimes requested on a singer experience! We also have a variety of vocal effects and techniques to lend different qualities to your vocals, and give you that "Aretha edge" ....

* Recording studio staff have between them both a high level of musical experience and training, and various teaching and languages qualifications. Well equipped to make anyone feel at ease.
