The Beehouse is fully technically equipped to record solo artists, bands, choirs, theatrical and live events, and a whole raft of other possibilities. For a technical run-down please check out our technical page.

In addition to technical provision, we have a minimum of two engineers present on most occasions, we have male and female staff, immediately available expertise and versatility in a wide variety of musical genres, and members of staff who can communicate in French, German, Arabic and a number of other languages such as German, Italian, and Spanish to a lesser degree.

The studio has a full HD video suite based around the Canon 7D. The Beehouse is able to film and produce up to full 1080p HD quality videos and video uploads to Youtube, having the use of two interior photography areas, and miles of unique countryside!

Should you wish to stop over you can make use of the Bunkhouse, and catering is also possible. For day visitors of course we provide tea, squash, coffee and water.

For larger parties, you may also use the Bunkhouse, or there are a number of excellent bed and breakfasts, a hotel, and number of restaurants, a chippy and a pizza cafe within walking distance.

There is also a leisure centre with a swimming pool.

The studio has wifi and credit card facilities, plus a large flat easy access car park bringing you up to the door.

There are a variety of music and artistic workshops based around the Beehouse, and there is an occasional bar at the weekend in the Workhouse.

If you are accompanying an artist but you don't want to hang around, there are a few interesting little shops in the town centre, or you can take a bus to Welshpool or Oswestry from the main road.

Please ask in advance if you wish to bring a dog with you. Visiting dogs are generally welcome at the Beehouse providing they are kept on a lead, and are well-behaved, but there may be occasions when there may be issues. Dogs are not allowed into any of the studio buildings themselves out of consideration for those with allergies.
